Phenomenal tour, tasting, and food pairing!
My husband, his friend, and I did the tour & tasting with food pairings for their birthdays, and the whole experience was AMAZING! Fiona was our tour guide, and kept us laughing and learning the whole time. Even the two Irish lads learned a lot about the local history and the production of whiskey. The tasting with the food pairings was incredible -- really thoughtfully paired, and the food from local suppliers made the whiskey sing even more. Well worth the price, as you get nice healthy pours of whiskey. We decided to get a couple bottles on the way out to commemorate the day. Fantastic tour - very informative.

It's a Must do

Distillery Tour
We went on the tour on a day trip from Dublin. They have a good coffee shop for a pre-tour refreshment, Then on with the tour with an excellent guide, Leon, who took his time to explain to us the intricacies of making good whiskey - it was very educational and worthwhile. The distillery was very clean, warm and comfortable. Then on to the warehouse with lots of "the good stuff" aging gracefully. All in all, a very worthwhile trip, much of it thanks to Leon. Irish hospitality at its best!
Ben was so informative and personable! I’ve been on a truly ridiculous amount of distillery tours, and this one is definitely in my top 3 tours. Very informative regarding both the Powerscourt distillery and Irish whiskey history in general, lovely walking route, and incredible welcoming staff throughout. Informative, interesting and well put together.

Tour Powerscourt Distillery, you will love the tasting.
We did the Powerscourt Distillery Tour and Tasting. Our tour/tasting guide, Hugh, was terrific. Great experience and learned some new distilling facts. Love that Powerscourt Distillery uses Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, as well as Wild Turkey, in their aging process.

What a wonderful tour.
What a wonderful tour set in such beautiful surroundings! Our guide Hugh was so knowledgeable and answered all the questions we asked! The tour itself was fascinating and the tasting room where we had a sample of three different whiskeys was very relaxing. Hugh talked us through all the different processes of distilling the whiskey and then the differences between the whiskies we sampled. The gift shop was very well staffed with very knowledgeable staff. All in all, the best distillery tour we have ever been on.
